Madhuri Dixit

Madhuri dixit, an Indian actress known for her work in the film Hum Aapke Hain Koun (Beta Saajan) and Beta Saajan is one of the most popular Indian actors. In the 80s, she began acting and was a hit with her role of Tezaab where she appeared alongside veteran actor Anil Kapooor. Her next film was the movie Dil where she co-starred on the screen with Aamir Khan. In Mumbai her home, she grew up in a household of middle-class parents. As a child, she began to learn about age, she began to study dance. In her teens she started acting, and struggled for years because most of her initial films ended up failing. Then she found her feet and went on to become one of the leading actresses in the Indian film industry. Following her marriage her husband died, she took time away from performing prior to returning. Recently, she was an integral part of Gulaab Gang about Indian women. Dixit has been nominated 15 times for Filmfare Awards. She won eight of these. Padma Shri, the fourth-highest civilian award given to civilians in India is bestowed to Dixit. Her social work field is well-known.
