MANUEL-TURIZO

Manuel Turizo (full name Manuel Turizo Zapata) is an urbano and reggaeton singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Colombia whose trademark is his smooth buttery tenor singing voice. The singer has made significant inroads to Latin pop. In the year 2017, his 2016 hit Una Lady Como Tu won the Colombian Kids Choice Award Favorite Song. His debut album ADN was released by La Industria Inc., which is a Medellin-based Sony distribution company. The album peaked at the rank of eight on the Top Latin Albums charts. The following year he became part of Ozuna on the Top Five smash Vaina Loca. Mala Influencia is which was released in the year 2020, by Noriel and his Dopamina album in the same year. Then in 2021 he sang the duet for TINI's smash streaming track Maldita Foto. In 2023, he appeared on 2000, featuring the smash hit La Bachata. Turizo was born into a household of music his mother and older brother are musicians. In interviews, he described music participation as mandatory. When he was a kid he played the ukulele guitar as well as piano.
